“Nothing Could Be Finer Than To Be In Carolina”
Rumor has it that, here in the Triangle area, we have painted the sky Carolina blue and have a magical way with anything that grows. Spring finds our city streets and neighborhoods flush with delicate dogwoods and azaleas, while the summer hosts the signature of the South- the magnolia. And we`re just getting started!
Year-round, there`s always something blooming in North Carolina. I think Mother Nature just likes to show off around here! You can take it all in around the Triangle at places like Pullen Park with its 72 acres of beauty and a fully-restored, turn-of-the-century carousel for children of all ages. Or, enjoy a stroll in the Raleigh Rose Garden among roses of exotic and domestic splendor.
Next, head over to Chapel Hill for a look at one of the best collections of herbs and native plants in the United States at the North Carolina Botanical Garden. Afterward, a trip to Durham is a must where you can enjoy a quiet walk through the exquisite 55-acre Sarah P. Duke Gardens.
In addition, you will be pleased to find that neighborhoods throughout Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and their surrounding communities offer ample, picturesque greenways for walking, jogging, or bike riding, as well as equipped parks and plentiful man-made lakes for relaxation and recreation.
Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina!
